Carla looked at the car in surprise. She could not believe her eyes when her father parked the car in front of her house. He promised to buy a nice car for her if she passed her graduation examination. At first she thought that he gave his promise to encourage her to study hard for the examination. Therefore, she did not pay attention to his promise. She spent most of her time reviewing her lessons without thinking about the gift her father intended to give her. The graduation examination passed and she had very good results. She was very happy to think about her future job that she was offered by a big company very far from her city. However, she worried that she did not have enough money to buy a car to drive to work. But now her worry has gone away because her father has kept his promise.

Hi Jo,
Thank you very much for your letter. Although I was very busy with my work, I went to the cinema last weekend. I saw the film entitled "He Plays as Beckham does". It was a very interesting film about a successful Vietnamese footballer. He was interested in football when he was at secondary school. Therefore, he spent most of his time playing football with other boys without thinking about the revision for the coming final examination. His parents did not allow him to play football because they thought that he would fail his examination. However, he tried to persuade his parents to permit him to play football as a professional footballer. His parents agreed with his persuasion and now he has become a famous footballer in a Vleague football team. I liked the film very much because the boy in the film was a good example for us to follow.
I recommend this film to you and I hope that you will enjoy the film. Why don`t you see the film this weekend?
